Stetson Flyers Giant Scale Rally
Event Report
Saturday and Sunday September 13 and 14th the Stetson Flyers hosted the 9th annual Giant Scale funfly. The weather held out for some excellent flying. There were 32 register pilots of whom 27 were flyers and 5non flyers. Ed Whynott cooked up a delicious barbecued pig for dinner, which was also served with some fire in the hole chilli, potato salad, coleslaw and there toped off with cake for desert. After dinner Rob Erdos from Vintage Wings of Canada (www.vintagewings.ca) gave a presentation on the operations and the aircraft at Vintage Wings. Late in the afternoon Scott Clarke hooked up a buddy box for Rob to try hand at RC flying after that Rob said he had a new respect for RC pilots. This is becoming a must attend event for giant scale.

Stetson Flyers Giant Scale Rally
Sept. 13-14 - Stetson Flyers Annual Giant Scale Rally and Pig Roast - Please join us again this year for a weekend of giant scale fun featuring a Saturday evening Pig Roast dinner. MAAC or AMA is required and all aircraft must be IMAA legal. Camping is available onsite (no hookups). Flight line opens at 9am and a landing fee of $5 will be charged.
